I have been using this business for pest control for number of years after having a number of other pest control companies failing to ensure unwanted inserts and spiders were not around our place. They seem to have the environmental toxic free products and satisfy the pest problem and it seems to last the year. Highly recommend this business would not consider another pest business. Valued customer.

Real Estate Property Manager. Prior to the introduction I had used other companies who did not offer the same professional service I attained from these guys. No job was too small or too big and they were always contactable and were able to attend to the job quickly. The quality of their service and the work performed is second to none. I have used the company for my own family needs as well and I will never again use another company for my pest control needs.

Cure For Termite Infestation

Around Australia, termites are frequently referred to as ‘white ants’. These tiny pests can wreak a massive level of property damage every year. Due to their great capacity for destruction, residents of St Ives are encouraged to find reliable termite inspection services.

Termite Removal/Management Processes

Termite treatments alter in terms of their goals and application, each with their own differences, benefits and limitations. There are two major termite management strategies; attempting to eliminate the termite colony with baiting, and chemical treatments that try to create a barrier in between the termites and the structure to be protected. Contact us today for more information on the cost of termite inspections.

In St Ives, chemical treatments are the more traditionally applied management strategy to kill termites. However, baiting and interception for colony eradication has its’ advantages that should not be dismissed.

It is vital to have your white ant situation checked out by a professional pest controller to assess the damage and advise a suitable management plan.

So you know you want termite inspection, and you’re looking for the best treatments that St Ives can offer? Need to make sure you’re getting best bang for your buck on termite inspection in St Ives? To get more information on making the right choice, we are more than happy to assist, and we provide very affordable prices as well.

Chemical Treatments For Termites

Repellent Chemicals

These chemicals can be easily sensed by termites / white ants, which makes them excellent for providing protection on treated areas. However, in the event the treated locations are not fully covered, or if they are later compromised, then white ants can sense the gaps and once again access the property.

Bifenthrin has a residual lifetime of up to five years and is the most widely used chemical repellent currently available.

Non-Repelling Chemicals

These chemicals are not identifiable by termites. Given they don’t avoid the chemical, they pass over the chemical and die as a result of coming into contact with it. They often also pass the chemical on to other colony members that they come into contact with, thus creating a compounding effect.

Because the termites don’t detect these non repellent chemicals, they cannot tell treated from untreated areas, and are less likely to gain access via possible gaps.

The commonly used non repellent chemical is Fipronilthat features a residual life of as many as 8 years after application.

Great company, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and awesome results. Called Andrew and let him know what we were seeing. Andrew was wonderful, helped me determine what type of creepy crawlers we had in our home and was able to get someone out really quick. Adam came out to treat our apartment for cockroaches and from start to finish I was super impressed. Adam was friendly, answered all my questions, and gave me some insight and tips to help with our problem. They are a reliable and effective company who I won't hesitate to call again! Highly recommend.

These guys have to be the best on the market with competitive prices and fantastic attention to detail. I recently used them for both my house and my parents house for general pest control and I can honestly say I regret not using them sooner. The results speak for themselves very professional, on time and very thorough. No place for the bugs to hide with these guys!!

Baiting Systems For Termites

Used to exterminate termites in a residence, Above Ground Systems position bait stations directly where there is termite activity, so that the white ants feed upon the bait matrix instead of the timber they were eating until now. As well as killing the termites that eat the bait at the source, there is also a compounding effect when worker termites feed the bait to other colony members.

In this way, the whole termite colony can be erradicated, even if you don’t know the actual location of the nest. The bait stations continue to be monitored and assessed, so that they can be added, rebaited and/or moved in response to the observed results.

While In-Ground Systems can be used in a similar manner, they are typically situated throughout the property to provide an early warning and interception system. These systems are especially useful when the residence design means that a robust perimeter barrier is hard to install.

Baiting System Benefits

  • Adaptable protection against white ants
  • Not affected by weather conditions
  • No danger for kids & pets
  • Environmentally friendly

Extremely happy with the services provided, we had a very knowledgeable technician Sean came to attend to the possum issue in our townhouse, Sean found the openings where the possums came in on the roof right away and patched them up. When the previous pest control company failed to do. But being a two level building with a separated garage roof, it was very difficult to trap the possums still inside, but Andrew the boss and Sean kept trying and finally got the problem all solved. Friendly to talk to and easy to work with so Highly recommended.

I had Benjamin come to our place on Monday because I was worried we had a spider problem. He identified a major funnel web spider situation. Benjamin was so thorough and considerate because I was very scared having three small children. He went above and beyond to make sure he spent as much time as needed to treat every single spider hole in our yard. He has arranged to come back in 2 weeks time just to make sure we are all safe for the Christmas period. So grateful for all his help. Highly recommend!

Ben is an absolute gentleman. Extremely polite and courteous and was very thorough in his work. He even took the time to explain different aspects of his job and the various insects and how he gets rid of them. Absolute champion. Hoping this will be the start of a long relationship with Andrew and his team. Cheers.
